Women in Hiphop

On April 26th, it’s time for Urban Paradox #6. In this sixth edition, women from the community take center stage:
• What is the position of women in the battle scene? And in the theater sector?
• Do you receive the same opportunities, respect, and fees as male creators and dancers?
• What’s going well, what can be improved?
• Should there actually be specific attention paid to women in the scene?
We invite several women from the scene to come together to discuss this: Alida Dors, Aruna Vermeulen, Sarada Sarita, Nita Liem, Elia Vitadamo and Isis Adriaens. Munganyende is our moderator.
You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute from the audience. Together, we’ll discuss what’s on our minds and how we can solve the problems we see. Everyone of any gender is welcome to join and participate.
