Breakdance, or Breaking as practitioners themselves call it, is now an Olympic sport. During the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Breaking is officially part of the program. The top Breakers will then compete on the world’s largest sports stage for the coveted gold medal.
The NADB (Dutch General Dance Sport Association) is the official Dutch sports organization tasked with ensuring that Dutch Breakers are present on the Olympic battle floor in Paris. On the journey to Paris, the NADB collaborates with numerous organizations from the Dutch sports and Breaking community.
